When searching for a Doctor Referral to obtain your Medical Marijuana Registry card for the State of Colorado, we recommend you start with your primary care physician. Typically a patient can just as simply discuss their needs with their primary care physician. In some cases this can be less expensive than going to a specialized doctor to obtain this referral.

And while all properly licensed and in good standing doctors in the State of Colorado can give this referral, many still do not feel comfortable with this as a solution and refuse to sign. They may have other specialists in their group, or have ideas of other physicians that can help. Be sure to ask them if they op to not sign off.
